This was a really great psychological thriller. When Claire meets her new neighbour Sharni she begins to feel a little unsettled in her company. Both women appear to have a troubled background and suspicions worm their way into their relationship. The more she gets to know Sharni the more she feels that there is a huge mystery behind her. But then the other people around her seem to fall under Sharni’s spell which makes Claire feel more alone and troubled.
There are plenty of plot twists keeping you gripped and wondering what secrets are going to come tumbling out. We get to know the neighbours and Claire’s friend and at times we are wondering who we need to feel more anxious for.
I will be really keen to read more in this genre by Lynda. I loved the whole atmosphere in this one.
