Three families who don’t know each other that well are sharing a ‘very big house’ in the country. It’s by the sea and sounds an absolutely blissful place to stay. The book explores friendships, relationships and family life put under strain by being in close proximity to other people who may or may not have things to hide.
The children make new friendships and you can just imagine the heady days of childhood where they are making lifelong memories.
The characters are all so fascinating that you really feel like you could turn up and claim one of the free bedrooms and just slot into their holiday.
The first book I’ve read by Claire Sandy- but I will be very keen to read more. I loved her writing style.
With many thanks to the publisher and Net Galley for a copy of this book.
